Just a pea-sized amount on paws before walks helps prevent damage and aid in healing. If your pup suffers with hot spots, the balm soothes itchiness and helps repair skin damage naturally. Directions:
Apply a thin layer of the salve prior to time spent outdoors, or as a first aid for previously cracked skin. Additionally, it can be used as a topical treatment for dry noses, hot spots and dermatitis.

African shea butter, locally sourced calendula, lavender infusion, sunflower derived non-gmo vitamin E, jojoba oil.

Ingredient Highlights:
Calendula is a marigold-like flower. It has skin healing properties, while also reducing pain and inflammation associated with skin disorders.

African shea butter is simply one of nature's finest healers. High in micro and macro nutrients including vitamins A, E, and F, which help promote healing of many skin conditions including cracked skin, inflamed skin and dermatitis. It also acts as a barrier against the elements.

Care instructions

Our products are natural + minimally processed.

Average shelf life varies from 6 - 9 months. Please keep your new goodies out of heat, sunlight and humidity to extend shelf life.

During hot weather it's advised to refrigerate any balms, creams or salves for 15 minutes prior to use. The ingredients have a naturally low melting point and may need to "firm up."

If you live in a hot climate, we have non-toxic reusable cold packs for purchase. The cold packs help to reduce potential melting, ensuring your order arrives intact.

In cold weather, products may be a firmer consistency. Simply warm in your hand before application.

Skin Sensitivities + Allergens

With any new product it's always best to spot test 24-hours prior to application.

We are not responsible for adverse reactions to product. It is the customer's responsibility to test for skin sensitivities prior to use.

To Spot Test: Apply a small amount of product covering 1/2 to 1 inch of the inner forearm. After 24 hours if no reaction has occurred, proceed!

Please do not use if you notice redness, irritation or other reactions.

Shipping

All US orders ship via USPS First Class and Priority Mail. Tracking information is available in your Etsy Purchases and also emailed to you on the shipment date. Most packages are delivered within 1 to 5 business days.

Returns and Exchanges

Due to our strict hygiene standards, we do NOT accept returns of any Meadowlark products that have been used, sampled, trialed, tested or have the safety seal broken, removed, altered, compromised or missing.

Only products in their original sealed packaging may be returned. Once product is delivered successfully to Meadowlark in their original intact state, your funds will be returned or product will be exchanged. Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Absolutely love this balm! My pup has severe allergies, so it's always hard to find balms without at least 1 thing he's allergic to. This balm has limited but quality ingredients and the faint smell is divine. My pups paws are already soft after a few uses. Definitely recommend and will be buying more!


My husband is the one who administers this to our itchy German Short Haired Pointer and he says it works real good. I have noticed he doesn’t scratch as much as he has been which was A LOT.


As a returning customer, several times over, this stuff is fantastic. We have a senior dog who still likes to go for walks but the asphalt isn't the most friendly for her feet. This stuff really works and our pup falls asleep during her foot massage. ha! Shop owner is great, products are great!
